First, I love your acoustic! With that said, what kind of guitars are they? Can't tell from the pic if that is an actual strat....
Anyway to the answer. .. I have been playing for 16 or 17 years and have the following:
1 Acoustic Electric
1 Acoustic
1 12-String Fender Acoustic
1 Epiphone Les Paul (My Baby)
1 iAxe 393 (Basically a Strat copy with a USB and amp input)
1 Fender full size P-Bass
In playing all of these, my Les Paul is hands down my favorite but I also truly appreciate the Acoustic sound. I play my Acoustic more, but love the sound of a good electric. I would say the two are friends. SOmetimes you want mellow and sometimes you want a hurricane! Sometimes you want a mellow Hurricane! (That is the best. A little acoustic melody with some electric leads...)
It's really preference and there is no right answer...
All I can really say is keep playing!!!

Just remember the song is two half steps down, so tune the guitar with "D" at the top...
Try it like this for awhile and you eventually learn them by ear alone!
